Underwater Fingerprint Detection

Small Particle Reagent is used to detect latent fingerprints left on wet surfaces. The reagent is made of a suspension of fine molybdenum disulfide in a surfactant solution. Apparently, the particles adhere to the water insoluble fatty residues of fingerprints.
